Honestly, although both dresses are lovely, dress #1 is more flattering on you....way more! It really looks great on you! We all have to dress to suit our body type. I wish I could wear a certain style that I love (a mermaid dress), but it just does nothing for me, so I will just admire it on others and wear what looks the best on me.

Both dresses look amazing on you. You should go with your heart, if that is #2, try to sell #1. With that said, #1 looks great and you bought it for a reason. Did you try on #2 before you bought #1 or was it an after thought? Go with your heart, you will look gorgeous in both!

I tried #2 on first and then #1. The lady at the salon said that usually you try on your favorite last but dont always know it. I have decided to stick with #1 and I will not go back on it :) Just a few changes and it will be perfect :)

Thank you ladies for your honesty!

Woo-hoo! Let's hear it for SCUBA, everybody, and the wonderful decision she has made!

Let me just tell you, I know I am a little late on seeing this thread, but as I was reading through everyone's posts, I was hoping to see that you had decided to go with dress #1 -- it's magnificent! I'll join everyone else in saying that it looks positively BRILLIANT on your figure, and I think the flowing nature of the material will look like a dream when the wind catches it...your pics are going to be phenomenal!

The whole thing just "works" on you -- the cinching in your midsection make your waist look itty-bitty, the beadwork is divine, the train - love it!, and the corset back couldn't look better. Hey, I even like it WITH the straps, if you want me to be honest, but it'll still be smashing if you go without!

Congrats on sticking with your inital purchase; hands down, I say you made the best decision in the end! wink.gif
