Hi Courtney,

Couple things to try and help you out...

1. You will likely need to add your checking account or credit card to paypal and have it verified by paypal before you can make any payments (at least I did)

- When you sign into Paypal > My Acccount > My Profile then either Add Bank Account or Add Credit Card

- Add the account information and have it "confirmed" by paypal, but please note this usually takes a day or two

- At least for checking accounts, paypal will make 2 small deposits into your checking account (ie. one for $0.11 and one for $0.09) you will then need to log into Paypal and tell them those deposit amounts.. its how the verify you are the owner of the checking account.

- I have not verified my credit card account so not sure if it works the same as banking account

2. You will also need the Paypal email address of the person/vendor you are trying to pay. Once your account is confirmed you should be able to pay by going to Send Money.

Hope that helps!!

Awesome, thanks so much for the advice! I made an account and added my credit card (so that I can get more cashback bonus lol) but when I go to send money to the email address it says that I need to add money to my balance (or something along those lines). I don't want to use my debit card, so maybe I just need to give it a day or so for it to be verified...I've never used this before so I really have no idea what I'm doing-thanks for the advice.
