My OOT bags

Hey ladies

 

Just wanted to share with you the OOT bags I bought the other day.

 

 

I purchased these bags at Ten Thousand Villages. They are handmade jute bags from Bangladesh. These are a 'fair trade' item. After all the me-me-me spending I've been doing lately, it felt nice to buy something to support a woman in a country whose GNP is less than $200 a year.

They were $9 Canadian each. I only have around 20 guests (about 8 couples) so I don't have to buy very many. Plus it's a good cause
