Any Ideas????

Hi

Getting married in Jamaica in 3.5mths!!! We need a photographer at a reasonable price. The photographers down there want an arm and a leg it's ridiculous. We want to stay between $1500-$2500 Canadian. Do any of you know any good photographers that we could use?? We don't mind paying their flight whcih is $1350-$1900 but don't want to spend another $3000 on pictures on top of the flight.

The photographer we are using is Javon Longieliere. His studio is a husband and wife team and they were voted one of the best on knot.com. I know he tends to book really far out in advance but it is worth a try. We are having him do our photos in France for a very good price (approx. $3200). I'm not sure which photographers you spoke with in Jamaica, but the ones I spoke with had some reasonable packages, depending on what you were looking for - Brian Najedy had one and if you use a SunGold Associate they are also less pricey.

Another thing you can do is ask EVERYONE to bring cameras and send them the poses/pics you like from other people's weddings so they can ask you to pose - someone will get a good shot!
