Advice: Anyone ever stay at Riu Yucatan?

Hello,

 

I have a date tentatively booked at the Riu Yucatan for next May and need to confirm by this Friday. I was wondering if anyone has stayed at the resort and if so how they liked it?

 

The price for this resort is about $200 less per person than the Riu Palace Riviera Maya and I'm wondering if it is worth having my guests spend the extra money to hold the ceremony there? Cost for my guests is my main concern.

I've been on the property at the yucatan while staying at one of the other RIU's. For $200 the Palace is WAY nicer.
