Good ideas! We will be doing the shoe thing FOR SURE. Always love that one!

A friend of mine had a larger wedding.... on each table, there was a phrase or a line of a song or a word.... In order to go to supper, someone from the table had to get up and explain the significance of that line or whatever to the couple. For example... the name of their pet... the tagline of the movie they saw on their first date... that kind of thing. The couple was good about placing the clues on tables where at least one person would know the answer.... ALTHOUGH someone did get up and make up a ridiculous story to try to answer their clue, and the MCs said it was creative enough that they could get supper anyway.

This wouldn't work for us, but it was both sweet and funny.
