Wow that's a bit extreme....I mean they should obviously know that ppl on ebay are selling their stuff and using their pictures. Big deal...I can't believe they found you of all the other ppl on there using their pictures. Well good luck selling it this time around!

Yes I read it's because you are selling the gown and so they do not allow people to profit when using their copyrighted photos. Taking your own photos of the dress should be fine.

 

I assume they do this because they pay to have those photos of the dresses taken so then they don't want others to be able to earn money from them.

 

I would think that the designers should be ok with posting photos of dresses on the forum just to show other brides. I mean that is free advertising for them! But again posting the designer's photos to sell to other brides they wouldn't like.

You can try these options to list your dress too.

1. Once Wed is free.

2. Used wedding dresses. Buy & sell new, sample and used designer wedding gowns charges a small fee for a 12-month listing.

You may have better luck there than eBay.
