Hi there - I had the same issue as you..drove myself crazy! My biggest concerns were my budget overall for the wedding and how much it would cost my guests. After months of looking at 20 different places I was ready to rip my hair out and then I realized I needed to be logical. I wrote down a list of everything I couldn't do without and then I wrote down everything I could live without. I compared the three best rated resorts - picked one and stopped looking after that because as another person posted - you have to stop comparing once you picked a place or you will go nuts!

From what I've heard on the forum, Melia Caribe is charging $1000 if you use an outside photographer, so if photos are important, this is probably one to stay away from
