Just Married in the Dominican

Hey everyone,

 

I just got married July 8th in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and I just wanted to post a couple of things to help out others. We knew we wanted a DW but narrowing it down to where was quite the challenge. Then once we made that decision, after dealing with wedding coordinators that seemed to care less and realizing the cost, we changed our plans from getting married at a resort to getting married at a little restaurant called the Jellyfish. Best decision we ever could have made. We spent the same amount of money BUT we ended up with a far more intimate, beautiful, romantic wedding than we ever could have had at the Majestic Colonial (where we saw as many as 3 weddings a day -- easy enough to do since the "aisle" is right down the middle of the beach).
