Who to invite to Bridal Shower?

I did an advanced search for something on this, because I'm sure it's out there, so sorry if there is already a thread on this!

 

My bridal shower is Oct 3rd. I just put together the guest list for my MOH and it looks like about 62 women. I feel like that is a lot, I rather have it around 40-50, but I have a Bunco group (yep, I said it! a bunco group!) so that is 12 girls right there and I can't invite only half or some, it's either all or nothing. Then between friends and family, I just feel like that's sort of an absurd amount? any suggestions? what did you girls do?

I think you should invite them all just make sure you have fun and speak to all of them individually so they know you appricate them being there.

I think its customery to invite those who are invited to your wedding. I wouldn't invite someone to my shower who I didnt even invite to my wedding. So if all those 72 girls are invited, then I would invite them all to your shower.

That's what I figured. Does anyone else feel like that's sort of a lot still? Oh well, I guess there is no way around it! My aunt and MOH are organizing it and I'm not having one from my MIL, just this one, so I guess that helps too.

There were 53 women at my bridal shower. At first I was in a bit of a panic about having that many people but I just made my way around and ensured that I sat down at every table and talked to everyone who was there. Yes, it was overwhelming but it was also fun!

The more the merrier I say! What about a drop-in shower? Maybe that way there'd be fewer people all at once.
