Name Tag Idea

We are having our engagement party next month and it will be the first time our families, other than our parents, have been around each other and I was thinking about doing name tags. I def need it to be a DIY project and something cute/classy, not cheesy. Is it cheesy to have name tags? Please offer any advice/suggestions, I did a search and only luggage tags came up.
