krazeekitty,

I am with you on the not being so organized with stuff... probably because I am always on here rather than actually putting all my ideas into action. I pretty much need all the same things as you.. just finally getting my booking done this fri too...

I know I've probably asked this a million times already, but are you guys having a civil or symbolic ceremony?? Still trying to decide, but I really need to move on it..

Hey girls! I have not chimed in in a while! how is everyones planning coming along?

I totally love and I am obsessed with planning all of our events and our wedding. I just wish there wasnt a cost to go along with it! It puts me in a bad mood thinking about all the money we still need to pay! But besides $$$$$$ I love planning!!!!

We actually just decided that we are going to be having a symbolic ceremony. After discussing it with my Photographer, who has done a tone of destination weddings both ways, it seems to save a lot of stress and money to go the symbolic route and get legally married here first.

Yeah, so I finally found someone to look after my babies (the four legged ones)! I am still kinda hoping my girlfriend will do it, but if that goes south I was talking to one of my cousins at thanksgiving. (His mother actually offered him up! lol) He lives at home still and would love the chance to get out for 2 weeks, as would his mother apparently! So him and his girlfriend will live at my house while were away! Its kinda a relief, I was beginning to worry!!! We really didn't want to put them in a kennel, its kind nice to know I have 2 guards when no one is home, as I live out in the country.

At first I wasn't going to, but then we decided to. I made table numbers and I'm going to make little placecards with each guest's name & table tied to starfish. I'll place them at the entrace to the restaurant near the guestbook.

Now that guests are starting to book I'm realizing that we'll probably only end up with 2 or 3 tables & the head table... lol, oh well. wink.gif

We are doing the civil ceremony....... I think most will agree that the symbolic is less stressful though. If it is important that you are 'officially' getting married on the same day that everyone is there then the extra costs/stress may be worth it for you......... or if you don't think that is important than go with the symbolic...... hope that helped a bit!
