Recommended Posts

Im getting married in January 2010 at beaches turks and caicos.

Lisa you already sent your invitations?!?! Holy cow I guess Im way behind. Mine are going out in september.

I do have a lot done. But still need to purchase bridal party attire, make OOT bags (cant do that until final head count) book hair and makeup, final dress fitting, just little things. Got most if not all of the major things out of the way!

We didn't bother with the STD's. We wanted to keep things pretty simple and with a minimal cost. Otherwise, we would have done the same as you, STD's then invitations later on!

Hey girls, I'm SO glad i found this thread (thanks Lisa!). I was beginning to think i was one of the few January 2010 brides out there!

Psyche27 - i totally know what you mean. We decided 2 months ago to do a DW, and it can be a bit overwhelming. One of the best things i did was find a great travel agent who is coordinating all my guests' travel plans / RSVPs, and even did the inital communication with the wedding planner at the resort.

Things done:

location / date picked

details of ceremony / supper

wedding invitations sent out (for a STD, we used an email and a wedding website).

Things not done:

I'm scared to even list this :P
