Help pls! Tungsten bands a bad idea?

Recommended Posts

huh02.gif Who told you stainless can't be cut?! Not that I think your hubby should wear his ring at work, but most of the metal products you see are stainless, and yeah easy to cut with the appropriate metal shears.

My husband has a Tungsten band as well. We got it for him for the sole reason that it had a cool design and it would never scratch, well low and behold he's like the very small percentage of people that can't wear the ring. So now after just over 2 years of having it, it looks like crap and we have to find him another one. I know some jobs will distroy the ring (however my husband doesn't do that type of work) but depending on what your FI does, you might want to double check. (IE mostly working with chemicals or automotive repair)

i bought mikes at stainless steel jewelry depot. they only have titanium & stainless steel now. they have them on overstock for around $20.

I bought 2 so he has an option of sizes.

I agree with what was said that if you work with your hands you shouldn't wear any ring. gold & platinum can be crushed into your hand which can be a lot worse than not being able tog et a ring off.
