Congrats and welcome, i am just starting my planning as well and i have chosen riu riviera maya in playa del carmen, i think my next step besides viewing forums here will be to find a travel agent

Try not too stress too much... a good TA is the best advice that I have for you! He/she can give you a lot of the info that you need and help you make an educated decision! Remember to look at the actual areas (beach/ gazebo) that the resort has for weddings and see if it suits what you have in mind!

Welcome! I too have been engaged for quite a while and still haven't chosen a location or resort. I recently started using a travel agent and she has been really helpful in showing me locations/resorts I hadn't previously considered. Good luck!
