Blessing Stone Poem

a friend of the family had a DW and they did this with their guests. I think it's pretty cool

 

Blessing stone poem:

Each of our guest have been given a stone

To hold, bless and protect

Sam and Kelly ask that in your mind and heart

You pray that their marriage be blessed.

Come cast our stones into the sea, and as the ripples

Touch and intertwine with one another,

May our love also touch and intertwine

To spread love and good wishes to all around us!

May God bless us all!

ooh my cousin did this... it was nice, but the minister kept saying their names.... only he mixed up their names a few times lol. It kind of ruined it!

I've also heard of everyone holding a stone throughout the ceremony and "bless" it with their love. At the end of the ceremony, the guests put the stones in a vase so that the couple can take their blessings home.
