Welcome to BDW Steve. Not all AI's in PV charge extra for reception dinners or rehearsal dinners. I know the Riu chain didn't when i was planning my wedding I got to have both nights reserved for our wedding party and guests (aprox 55 people). We also used the Riu's WC which were great to work with in person but communication through email planning up to the big day was very minimal and sometimes frustrating. Are there a couple of Ai's you already had in mind?

Welcome Steve! The brides above are correct, and you will want to check out the PV thread for sure. I know Dreams PV charges for any private party, whether it be a private rehearsal dinner or wedding, but most of the AI places are very nice to work with, and my experience so far is that they are flexible on some requests, so it just never hurts to ask!

Definitely want to check out the PV threads! You could spend days getting questions answered on that!
