Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Brides??

Recommended Posts

We used the hotel DJ for the ceremony only, and then used Doremixx for the reception and dinner. I didn't really notice how the hotel DJ was, he only played a few songs.  But Doremixx was awesome and made the party part of our wedding amazing.

We also got the buffet (350 pesos per person), and it was really good! They had chicken and other meats (I only had chicken, so I didn't really look at all of it to be honest), baked potatoes, salads, and I'm pretty sure everyone was satisfied AND we got variety this way. AND it was the cheapest way to do it!

Oh, and I have to eat gluten free and they made the buffet almost 100% gluten free (they said it was 100%, but a couple creamy sauces I decided to stay away from), and also made a a chocolate mousse for my dessert. Everything arranged by the wedding coordinator (romantic dinner after the wedding as part of our honeymoon) was specified to be gluten free, and the chef's were great if I approached them and asked about gluten/flour/wheat (the 3 spanish words I used the most this trip!)

Hi Joanne,

We booked through Perfect Weddings Abroad but the package deal is with Thomas Cook Signature - and we got a pretty good price. Perfect Weddings have been good although I would try TCsignature directly too as you might get a better price.

Just a word of warning (with the UK companies) we found they were calling the wedding package names slightly different from the resort so in the end we decided to book the silver package (lowest price) with TC so we had the security to fall back on if anything went wrong, but paid for the upgrade to the presidential package through the resort. It does work out cheaper just doing the wedding package through the resort but we wanted the security of doing at least a part of it through a UK company!

Hello Everyone!

I have been reading this thread from start to finish and it has been so helpful you have no idea!!  Thank-you to all the past brides for posting such detailed reviews!!  They have been amazing, it is so nice to just be able to read through the posts instead of emailing the WC's every single question.  Plus it's great hearing everyone's experiences!

We are booked to get married April 10th 2014.  We gave our deposit about a week ago through our travel agent and I haven't heard a confirmation yet but I really hope that we get the date.  We were originally booked at the Grand Palladium however we weren't able to get a wedding date so we had to move everyone to this resort!!  Huge headache but after seeing the beautiful photos of the palapa location, I'm starting to think that everything happens for a reason!

We will be booking the Presidential wedding package.  It looks like the best bang for your buck and I'm hoping that we can upgrade to a connecting suite as we will be bringing my future step children.  Would be very nice to have the connecting suite for us.  But that is all just wishful thinking! lol

Anyway, Can't wait to get to know all you brides!! :)

I'm booked for April 2, 2014! Can't wait to talk details with everyone! I submitted the deposit directly through the resort (that's what my travel agent told us to do) and I heard back within 24 hours that we got our date.  Maybe send them an email and just ask?
