Sgreen99 beautiful pictures!! Did you have your hair and makeup done at the resort?

I had the girls at the resort do my hair (I believe my girls was names Isa, she was fantastic!).  One of my girlfriends is an amazing MUA, so luckily that was her gift to me, which was great!

I have a question for any previous brides - we're going for the Presidentual package, but I wondered what is included in the ceremony set up, the brochure says 'romantic decoration' so does that include all the hanging flowers etc that are on the gazebo, and how about colour ribbons etc on the gabezo do you know if you have to pay any extras with this package?

Also as I understand it bridesmaids bouquets aren't included so I know we'll need to pay extra for these, but with regards to the brides bouquet can you have any flowers, or do they have set bouquets and you have to pay extra for certain flowers?

Thanks!

Check my review (link in my sig) - the only thing about the ceremony set up that we paid extra for were the coral chair bows.  All the rest was included in the pres package. (minus my own decor things which I think I describe there). Bridesmaids bouqs were like $25.

With the exception of the chair bows, white sand runner and rose petals, this is how the standard PRESIDENTIAL setup looks (this is the private beach area). Note that the Tiffany chairs would be an upgrade if it were not the pres package. The fans and mason jars were my own.   Off the top of my head I believe it was $3 per chair bow (which they do move over to the palapa for the reception) and I think like $75 for the runner and rose petals.  Should be in the extra brochure though.

Hi Sgreen99! I love everything about your wedding!! Thank you for posting such amazing photos and all the great intel on the resort, etc.

Did you have to choose a set menu for everyone at the wedding? I think the presidential package only comes with dinner for 10 people, and everything is extra. My coordinator is telling me that I have to pick the exact same meal for everyone. Was that the same thing you ran into as well? We're thinking of going for the surf and turf (steak & lobster) option.

Hi. The coordinators email all goes to the generic [email protected] Don't be surprised if you get a few different corresponders switching you off. Your won't really get a designated coordinator until 3 months before your wedding :)

Hi. We just booked our wedding for March 2014 and trying to get a hold of the wedding coordinator. Does anyone have a email or contact information? Thanks, Richoo

Hi ladies, I just got back from my wedding and honeymoon at the Sirenis yesterday!! It was amazing, and everything went as planned other than running about 25 minutes late, which delayed our dancing! :)

I will do a full review at some point, but a couple comments:

1. We had gotten an email saying we would only get the presidential suite for our wedding night, and I refused this immediately. They came back and said we could have it for May 5-8, but I didn't get the email before we got down there. We fought HARD at check in time to get it for longer and for the ridiculousness of having to change rooms 3 times, but they didn't do anything for us other than make sure we were in ocean view suites. So that is definitely something you should try to get in writing ASAP, although they say they can't guarantee it until a couple weeks beforehand.

2. We paid extra to have a specific 14 person golf cart for our wedding ($1,000 pesos for 5 hours), and even with that we were delayed getting everyone to the ceremony (we had 74 guests), so make sure you give enough time for them all to get there.

3. We also paid for a hostess, which means they did the set up for free and although I brought my own ribbons for the chairs, they set up and supplied their own ribbons for the reception chairs for no extra cost.

4. If you don't use their photographer (Photo Aventuras or something), TELL THEM NOT TO COME AHEAD OF TIME! The lasy was dressed in jeans and got in the way of a lot of our photographers pictures. She looked extremely unprofessional and their pictures were terrible- we had a tough time picking 10 that looked good (and she only took 50).

Let me know if you girls have any questions, and I will write a review soon! Although really, as long as you aren't a bridezilla about everything, it went so smoothly and I had no problems whatsoever!
