Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Brides??

Recommended Posts

Ladies, just got married last night and everything was above and beyond my expectations. It was the perfect night

I'll do a full review when we get home next week, but I literally wouldn't change a single thing. You are in great hands with Aranza and Diana and all the rest of the staff!

Hey,

My fiance and I ran across this forum and it looks to be quite helpful with planning for our wedding at Grand Sirenis coming up. We have actually been reading the info on here that comes up for a while now aha. I just wanted to ask some questions surrounding the music/DJ during the reception. We have the presidential package, and the reception will be at the Palapa on Friday May 20th. Can anyone give me an idea of what the DJ was like? Was the sound quality good (ie was the music loud, clear etc). I read a few reviews where people really didn't have anything good to say about the DJ for their wedding down there so I just want to get a better idea of what to expect. If the speakers he uses do suck, I may invest in a BOSE wireless speaker that I could use down there.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

We had no issues whatsoever. They have a sound system and the DJ plays music off a laptop. High tech? Not really but it's also a fraction of the cost of hiring a Mayan DJ like discomovil. The music was loud, clear and didn't skip. He played what we wanted - we didn't provide a list just told them the genres we liked and he took requests. Good luck with your wedding and congrats :)

Just over 2 weeks to go til our wedding! The info on this thread is so helpful, and love hearing about everyone's experiences! Wish I had found it sooner! I am also finding communication is a little bit slow, but Aranza is great at answering all my questions. Just sent another list in tonight so hopefully I hear back soon!

Has anyone used the screen and projector to do a slideshow? We are planning to do one and I'm curious to hear how its gone for others! We have 30 guests and are doing the reception in the palapa, so I figure there should be lots of room to put the screen somewhere that everyone can see it.

I'm starting to freak out guys. I leave in three weeks.

I completely understand and was in the same boat at 3 weeks left, but as long as you and the groom make it to the resort with your wedding dress, everything will be fine. I brought almost no decor with me and everything turned out beautifully. Your day is going to be perfect!
