Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Brides??

@@nkavanaugh yeah I would send lots of emails and then get all my responses a week later but at least they will answer your questions. As for spa appointments. I booked mine ahead of time but I booked my mom and mother in law when I got there and met with the coordinator. Send your coordinator a message with who wants what services and they will book it all ahead of time for you.

We were stressed die the first couple of days too making sure all of our guests were happy but after a couple days we just said no, this is our trip too. People generally are happy once they get there because c'mon, you're in paradise. How could you not be happy haha.

As for communications after paperwork I don't remember but that probably because I didn't send a lot of my stuff till late. They should be able to answer any of your questions though prior to getting there

I sent in all the paper work 3 months prior so by the time I had my WC she had seen it.

I wouldn't send numerous emails. Save your questions - when she replies send the next batch. Keep them simple in wording / point form

I had my appts at the spa booked beforehand but changed the time upon arrival.

we had our party at the health bar, and it was just perfect!  cozy and fun, we even dances with the coordinators and the dj lol ,

They are with you every step of the way and will do anything to make your day go as best it can! , i dont have the pics for the photographer yet but i got a couple form the people around !

we passed by the chapel before the wedding, and we only saw the priest there, he read passages and so did a person of our group, ill post more pics when i get them,..

@@vivitazy you look stunning! With each new bride it makes me more excited for my wedding next January.

Question for anybody who has booked either the palapa or beach bar for the reception... Do you pay extra for the location plus what ever menu you decide on top of that (bbq or private events menu)? Also is it a different price for the food for kids?

Our deposit deadline is Monday and so far we have 28 adults and 8 kids. Now that I have some more concrete numbers I'm trying to nail our budget down.

The beach bar isn't for the reception per say-- you would eat in the a'la carte and the beach bar would be the party after! It has separate pricing and includes alcohol, no food.

For the palapa you would pay the upgrade fee if you don't have a package that includes the palapa.  On top of that fee you would pay for your meal - so either beach BBQ buffet or the plated meals.    The alcohol is included in the 3 hour rental of the palapa, but if you want to extend your reception time you would pay a price per person per hour for the alcohol.

At the time I married kids under 12 were free and get a separate kids menu with the typical kids meals you'd see anywhere. You order beforehand (either by email or at your on site meeting) so make sure you ask your friend's what types of meals their kids would want.  I think all of ours got cheeseburgers and fries.

Hope that helps.

PS - things might have slightly changed since 2015 but I am sure the bones are the same.

@@vivitazy you looked so gorgeous!!! Am so glad everything went well :) Was your wedding in the chapel? Did the coordinator prepare you for how it would go? I have been told it is a full mass with no rehearsal which seems nerve racking to me lol

hi, thank you so much J

no rehearsals, i was just so anticipating seeing my guys up there, my mind was numb and i cried all the way down the aisle lol, i even messed up taking the (don’t know in English) but the round thing that melts in your mouth and sticks to your pallet, i just took it, didn’t place my hands lol , but you can go to the chapel beforehand and go see and do a practice run!  i would if liked a little more prep for this, but the priest guides you along,
