Hi! New here & planning a Spring 2010 Riviera Maya wedding!

Hi all! This site has been so helpful with all the reviews that I decided to join... this just might be my first ever blog post!

 

Right now, we're deciding between Moon Palace, Barcelo Maya Palace and Secrets Capri in Riviera Maya for an April '10 wedding. I think Moon looks most ideal for us but we can only get a 1pm wedding time...

 

Has anyone out there gotten married this early at Moon and was it alright? Or is it a mad rush with the next wedding coming in, and hard to get a private event site?

 

We can also get 4pm at Barcelo... decisions decisions. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

 

I have lots of questions & look forward to all the exciting stuff on this site!

Secrets Capri is also gorgeous... we stayed at Blue Bay one year and "snuck" into Secrets Capri for a couple of hours, service is impeccable with great drinks--also saw a wedding there that looked pretty swank. But I believe they are adults only...

Congratulations Kake and welcome to the forums! I have to agree about the Secrets resorts... they are all fantastic!

Early weddings are fine. You need to schedule a break afterward for your guests though as everybody will be drained if they are busy from 9am to 10pm with wedding events.
