Black shirt for the groom?...Be honest

Now that you confirmed a black shirt (which I think will look nice) on to the bout-

My hubby had a bout on his shirt but I thought it looked awkward. Naturally, I didn't see this until AFTER all our pics etc, but if I could have a do over- I'd save the money and do no bout. It just doesn't pin that nicely to a shirt IMO.

 

Maybe other girls can give some feedback and it could have just been a pinning issue with my DH, but it looked weird.

My only concern would be the heat - but if he's ok with the chance that he'll be a little warmer then I say go for it!

my dh didnt want a bout and went boutless. I thought he looked fine. so i'd say go boutless, im sure it would look great without one.

I agree on the bouts sometimes they look dumb when they are all hangy.

 

Maybe Jess can chime in, she got some really cool handmade ones from ETSY, possibly they are lighter and can be pinned on better?

i was just thinking that my resort had leis, just a thought if you really wanted the touch of color that a bout would give you maybe your resort can do a flower leis

yeah if you want bouts get the handmade ones...they are really light and look great...I don't necessarily think you need them though.

Were going with short sleeve black shirts and white linen pants for all the boys - I think the black makes them look a little bit dressier while still looking beachy - White shirts look good too - either way it will look great!
