Freaking OUT about my venue

Long story short- requested a reservation for my venue on June 1st for June 5th of next year (earliest you can reserve is a year in advance of the month of the event.) I didn't get it. I cried. Apparently this venue, being that is is a beachfront clubhouse in Charleston, SC (Sullivan's Island to be more precise) is in high demand- and people called in at MIDNIGHT on June 1st to snatch up all available June weekends.

 

So Chad and I decided to pick another date- one in July instead. It was between 7/10/10 which we had pretty much decided on, or 7/17 or 7/31. LAST MINUTE last night we decided on 7/17 because of low tide.

 

I haven't heard from the reservation coordinator if I got it yet or not. I am sick with worry. My submit time was July 1, 12:01:36 am. Was that fast enough!? AUGH!!!

 

I just need to vent because if I can't get this venue, my whole destination wedding plans are thwarted. I picked this place because as a member I don't have to pay to rent it. I can't afford to shell out thousands of dollars to rent a comparable place. If I have to do that we might as well elope on a cruise.

 

Is there hope if I don't get it?? Please tell me there is hope!
