I'm planning on getting married in November 2010 in Mexico or Jamaica. Any suggestions??

There are so many otions. even if you decide on Mexico there are still so many options. It was really hard to decide. I looked at flight prices from the main areas that our guests area flying in from and used that to make a decision. I could not decide on my own beacuse many have so much to offer. I also choose Mexico because there were many cheap day trip options for those who want to do different things such as zip-line tours, snorkling, shopping small mexico towns, mayan ruin trips, ecologcial reserve trips for those who enjoy the ourdoors. I liked the options. One could also just sit, drink and enjoy the sun and beach. I have noticed with research on this site and Tripadvisory that most of the resorts offer much of the same. One thing that helped me narrow it down was if we wanted an all inclusive or not, then if we wanted an adult only or one that accepted children. Hope this helps with the planning. Cheers

Congrats Jenny and to the forum!! I could recommend Mexico to you because that's where I'm going, but in all honesty, it depends what you're looking for in a wedding or trip! There's tons of info on here to help you decide, which is the hardest part IMO. Good luck and Happy planning!

Mexico and Jamaica are so different. I would suggest making a list of what's most important to you and your fiance, including budget and start looking at some resorts from each area. i would also check out the reviews on this forum. Good Luck!

Jamaica and MExico are both so different - another thing to consider is weather in November. A bonus of choosing Cabo San Lucas was no real rain or threat of hurricanes.
