User CP - Profile Pic

I have been trying to change my profile pic in my user CP. Here is what is happening...

 

WHY

 

I tried both the 'email im' and 'direct link' options from photobucket... what am i doing wrong

I think you want to change your Avitar pic. That is the pic that shows on the right hand side each time your post.

It looks from the pics (they are small though) like you circled a different code, that is why I asked. Can you walk us through what you do or is that too much typing?

i was thinking what erika suggested, avatar and profile pic are 2 diff things.

 

but if you really mean your profile pic, A)doesnt matter because no one can access it anyways, and B)i always click browse for either profile or avatar, and grab it from my desktop or file on my harddrive, rather than host it in photobucket. i only use pb for posting pics within a thread, or for hosting my siggy pics.

ummm... well i was really looking at the profile pic, uploading from my desktop has never worked for me. none of the photo bucket codes worked. I tried explaining it in words, but it was too confusing... thus the pics.

I think you mean avatar pic. The profile pic, no one can see anyway, but the avatar is under your username on every post.
