When I was in 4th grade they had a Thriller contest at Burger King and the winner got 4 tickets to the concert at The Forum in Los Angeles. Well a girl in my class "big Bertha" won. I was so freaking jealous! It's funny that I still remember that.

MJ had a great talent and wonderful music. I loved his songs and am rocking out to them right now.

RIP Mike! When I was 5 or 6 years old I wouldn't take off my MJ t-shirt. It was pink with an iron on of him with his hair on fire. (Remember from the Pepsi commercial?) He will never be forgotten cause his music lives on in every artist that performs today!

sad.gif just so sad.

I really can't believe it...he totally changed the music industry forever...I remember dancing around to Billie Jean when I was about 5 in my parents living room.

and he was so close to starting his "comeback" tour in London...

LOL! Oooh, me too! I remember that song from...wow, I was maybe 8 or 9 and my older brothers would jam it in the basement rec room! Craziness....I think it might be my favorite of MJ's.

Looks like I'll be spending a lot of time on Limewire and Youtube tonight (sigh). Go figure..I finally get assigned a personal coordinator from my site today and I have no desire to do wedding stuff.

I'm with you...I'll be playing MJ from tomorrow on. I think I'm going to play the hell out of the Off the Wall album.
I was just driving home, in a daze mind you, with my radio blaring since they were doing a tribute to him. I'm sure the people in the cars next to me thought I was crazy!

I'm also in shock. We really lost a musical genius today. Its just soooo sad. I can't even imagine how his family must feel with his loss.
I'm watching the news now & seeing how people were reacting in the streets with the news of his death. Its just crazy how people were in Times Square & at the Apollo. I also wish that I could've seen him in concert just one time! This is really going to be a sad weekend & a day that I will never forget!!!!cheers.gif

RIP King of Pop! Though he's gone he'll never be forgotten my future kids will rock to Off the Wall & Thriller just like I did when I was little. Though he had an extremely troubled personal life, his career was iconic and I hope he finally finds peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family sad.gif
