i am SO sorry that you are going through this right now. my thoughts and prayers are definitely with you and your family! it is gut-wrenching how many lives and families are made to suffer because of cancer, but it sounds like your aunt was a tough woman who fought hard and will finally have some peace.

 

also, your note about feeling selfish for continuing to plan your wedding... i know JUST how you feel. my FMIL had pretty severe surgery this week and i felt bad even talking about the wedding because of it. FI's dad told us though, that he thinks it's great that we're still chugging along and his sister and her husband were the first to book their trip this week. they said that with all of the other yucky stuff going on, the whole family needed a reason to celebrate and something to look forward to. i can only imagine your family feels the same way!
