Welcome Gift Bags

We are planning to have our wedding at the Dreams resort in Punta Cana and were thinking of giving gift bags to our guest when they arrive. So far the idea is canvas bag with our names and wedding date, beach towel and a bottle of water.

 

Has anyone done something like this? Do you think it was a good idea...suggestions on what to put in the bag and also where to find canvas bags for a good price?

You could also add Advil, Pepto bismol, tums, all those kinds of "medicine-related" items, sunscreen? I agree with finleys7 to check the OOT thread, there is tons of great info!

I did them for my wedding and my guests loved them. I also see a lot of my wedding clients doing them.

 

Water, fruit snacks, advil, pepto, pen, spanish book for dummies, sunscreen. I've also seen some done with local flair. Tequila or little knick knacks they picked up when they got to their dw.
