Calgary Seamstress???

Help! Does anyone know of a good seamstress here in Calgary?

I bought my dress at Evalina Couture and she recommended a lady who I took a couple other dresses too and she took FOREVER to do them and I really wasnt too impressed. So, now I dont really want to take anymore dresses to her, let alone my wedding dress.

 

IF someone has a good seamstress in calgary, please share!

So I have to take my dress to a seamstress here in Calgary as well, and my bridal store highly recommended one to me. Its calle Midnapore Village Alterations.. they are obviously here in Midnapore.. I am not sure how fast she is, but I have taken other clothes there to her before and she does good work.. Not sure how long a wedding dress will take, but I guess I will find that out for myself as well. Once mine is back from the drycleaners I will be taking it over there myself. I would only have about 4 months for her to finish mine, so I'm sure if yours is needed quickly she can do a rush order. Mine won't require a lot of work.. but I am hoping she can do it fairly quickly! Let me know if you need more info! Its literally like 2 mins from my house!!

i dont even know where midnapore is? Ill definitely look into it though and see where it is in relation to my house!

There is a lady in the beddington town center plaza she did some of my pants a bit pricey but the work was very good

Ive been to that lady in Midnapore as well, she is really good!

 

Midnapore is in the south kind of by shawnessy (but on the other side on Macleod Trail)

ok so thats pretty far from me.. im in killarney so the SW of downtown. But if she is good then its worth the drive for me!

I just thought I would update this.. I have since taken my wedding dress to them and she said it would be ready in 2 weeks! She made the bustle look great, knew what she was talking about and and really easy to work with. I would highly recommend her. I don't need mine for at least 3 months.. and I was thinking it would take at least two.. so I was shocked when she said it will be ready in 2 weeks.. I guess it depends on what you need done.. but she is fairly priced to! Not sure if you got quotes from anywhere else but mine in total is costing 250 and thats it! Its wicked! And my dress is SOOO detailed... just some thoughts!!
