changing into a different dress?

That's so great to know! I'm glad that I'm not the only one with these feelings! My other concern is that my aunt is making my dress. If she ends up coming, will she be insulted if I change? I dunno! lol

Maybe you should mention it to her now so that she's not surprised later. Just run it by her with an emphasis on how hot it will be in Jamaica. Point out how uncomfortable you were in her house so she can imagine how you may feel in Jamaica and you just want to make sure you're comfortable. Hopefully she'll understand!

That's a great idea. Thanks for the input!

So I went to try on that dress from Pennington's last night, and it's not a good fit. As I'm bigger on the bottom, I needed a bigger size, which resulted in being too big on the top. The smaller size fit great at the bust, but was too tight around my stomach. I could get it on, but it wasn't comfy. I would hate to buy it in hopes of losing weight (which I am in the process of doing). Hmmmm, I'll have to think about this one or possibly look for another dress.

That's actually how I plan to use the initial wedding dress I bought. My favorite, ceremony dress is really hot and formal. I'll wear it for the ceremony but the original dress is perfect for the reception and its a great way to still use both the dresses.

I hadn't originally planned on changing, but we were going to an Italian restaurant for our wedding dinner, and I really didn't want to spill anything on my dress...I'm known to be a tad clumsy.

I ended up changing into a white and blue sundress and it worked great
