Sad to hear these stories. Now this thread in on the first page of Google with her name in the search. She should have refunded the money on the same day AND perhaps gave you a free photo session. That's what an established business would do.

I sincerely apologize you had to go through this. I would like to say that she probably is going through alot or try to make some other reasoning for her doing what she did simply b/c I cannot think of someone doing this and then just completely dismissing you but sadly it doesnt sound like that is the case.

Wow, I am so sorry you have had to go through all this. Can you call the BBB and report her That is what I would do, she owes you money and she should have paid it back to you the day she canceled, not half now and half later, its your money she has no right to spend it on anything, its yours not hers.

I'm really sorry to hear about this... But I was wondering if you sent her your deposit in Paypal? If so, you could file a complaint with them for non-receipt of services and have them initiate the process of getting your money refunded back to you. I really hope everything works out for you... There is nothing that I hate more is someone trying to scam or rip others off, but I always say that karma is a B!$%H!!

Yes she was banned right after I sent her the deposit it did send up a flag but I thought she runs a business she would be honest guess not! I am going to contact the BBB because I just think this is a poor way to conduct business.

 

This has not left a bad taste on getting BD pictures don I am thinking maybe for our anniversary.

please don't feel bad about posting this, its really important that we keep BDW a place where brides feel comfortable posting about their experiences. I hope that Danielle returns your money asap. I also hope that you will get BD pics done still. I did them before my wedding and I am so happy I did, I got pregnant shortly after my wedding and its nice that my hubby has those "before" photos...ha ha.
