Hi Brides-to-be. Newbie here. While I'm a newbie to this site, the wedding planning has been in the works for a few months now. Sadly, not a whole lot of progress. What we do know is that we want a destination wedding rather than one back home in DC (this decision took a good amount of time on its own).

 

Anyway, here's the scoop. We're planning to tie the knot the last weekend in April 2010 or first weekend in May, depending on availability. One of the challenges is that we should have a pretty good turnout in terms of guests - around 100 -(this was not the intent when we decided on a destination wedding). We intend for it to take place in Maya Riviera and right now, we are just trying to lock in the hotel. So it begins...
