Same Color Multi Dresses Option BMs

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone-

Here is what I am doing for my bridesmaids-- I have a very formal dress and I wanted the girls to get a dress they would like and be comfortable wearing in Cancun.

There are actually 7 dresses to choose from 2 of them looked terrible when i tired to change the colors to my choice. They are Alfred Angelo in Cobolt and Kiwi!

Thats what I like is to let the girls feel comfortable and have a choice. All though in some cases all the wedding party is happy with the once choice. I plan on doing the MOH in one color of a certain dress and the others in the same dress but a lighter shade (blues). However all the girls need to be OK with the dress!

My favorite dres is the far right one with the thicker sash :)

We are being very casual. I struggled w/ this cause I either wanted the girls all in the same dress but different colors (our colors) or in the same color different dresses. MOH was going to wear pink but the others would be a different color. One of my BMs only wanted green so we struggled w/ finding enough dresses not formal. We finally settled w/ all white short dresses and each one has a different color sash of our wedding colors (we're really using chair sashes and just cutting them a little shorter. But the dresses are from VS and we only spent $26 on them(includes shipping) they're comfy and bra tops, and the girls will definitely use them again.

Here is our dresses and the sash colors:

Yea- I finally decided to give my girl's free reign and simply ask that they keep it to one color in the After Six/Dessy collection; Venetian Gold. There are a TON of dresses to choose from and some of them can be ordered online for $100 or less, so they are happy and I am happy. I've got everything from a size 2 who has to have everything altered because she's so tiny @ 5'1, to a size 24- I just didn't feel right trying to dictate what I thought would look good on everyone in MY personal opinion. I wanted them to be comfortable and secure about how they look.
