Nail Strengtheners?

I dont know what nourish shampoo is supposed to do actually Ive never heard of it and Im a stylist so I cant really say anything about that but I can tell you that if you want to grow your hair out you can do a few different things... take prenatal, get it trimmed regularly so it doesn't break off and time. Those are the only things I have been taught to help speed up the process. I will tell you this though...if its not as long as you want it before you get married consider extensions. They make some that clip directly into your hair that will give you lift, body and length.

As far as nails...I know prenatal works and I know Sally Hansen has a good nail strengthener as well as OPI...It wont get any better than OPI as far as over the counter products IMO. Also, if you dont want fake nails for the wedding look into seeing if someone would just put the pink and white acrylic on your real nails instead of the glue and the nail etc. It will still damage them but not nearly as bad and it looks pretty good if you find someone to do it right. (its called sculpting)

Hope this helps!! :)

I must have the worst nails ever! I have tried MSM and I've tried OPI Nail Envy-both have delivered ok, but not great results for me. I think I am going to start trying the prenatals. If it could help my hair and my nails, I'd be sold for life!

I've tried various nail strengtheners and with every one of them the polish is peeling off the next day. I've been taking prenatals and that has helped some what, but they are not where I would like my nails to be. Guess I will have to research MSM. Thanks for the advise Ayita.

I had the same problem a while ago and someone told me to stop putting colored nail polish and start using clear polish with calcium in it. I tried this for about 2 months and I saw a difference. My nails were not only growing fast but they were strong as well.

Nailtiques all the way!!! It's about $18 for a little bottle, but just one coat every other day is all you need! I used to be a nail biter and stopped because it was actually making my nails healthier and I saw such an improvement that eventually I wanted them painted and pretty all the time!

yah i found it online and seems to be working. It just contains a bunch of vitamins and minerals? My sister is also a hair stylist and bought me 'FAST' which she said she doesn't know if it really works or not but i said i would try it. I will look into the prenatal vitamins for sure though. Thanks for your tips!

oh and I will be using extensions as well for my wedding. Not for length, cause I don't want to look like I have fake hair in by it being alot longer than normal, but to add volume
