I recently moved to San Antonio, but am originally from Pennsylvania. Sooo, everywhere would be a DW for me, I think! However, we have chosen Puerto Rico (subject to change - it was Playa del Carmen first).

I have never been to Galveston, but I have heard very nice things about it.

I thought it would be a good idea to keep in touch with everyone.. maybe share our vendors that are here in Texas in case any of us need anything locally.

FI and I were thinking the other night about how we dont really have any friends that are "on our level" meaning all of our friends are single, huge drinkers, no kids and simply cant stay away from the college bar life nor do they understand that we are a couple now. He said that maybe I should ask if any of the ladies on here in our area would be interested in maybe getting together for brunch or something. I know alot of you that are in DFW area are new here so I thought I would give it a shot. Since I had Dillan about 98% of my girl friends have decided that my presence is no longer needed in their single life. I miss having girlfriends. Why do I feel like this is like an eharmony ad? haha

I live in East Texas right at the Louisiana border. We're getting married on Mackinac Island, Michigan in June 2011. I am having such a hard time out here.....there are almost no bridal or wedding related shops...I'm having to do most planning and puchasing of things via the internet. I will either have to drive into Shreveport/Bossier City, LA or 3 hours away to Dallas when it comes time to get the dress.....cause that one for sure, I will not buy online. Well, anyways! Nice to meet you all.
