Here's my best advise.

 

Don't start stressing out yet. It will all work out.

 

It's not an easy thing for him do to, he obviously wants it to be special for you from what you've said he's hinted about.

 

From personal experience no matter how ready you are for it . . . he will do it when he thinks it will be great for both of you.

 

Much like Malissa - I had a date or two in mind that I just knew he was going to ask . . .and oh boy the heartbreak and frustration you go through when it doesn't happen when you thought it would! It can cause friction between two of you if you are mad at him because he didn't propose on a certain day . . . and he doesn't have a clue why you are upset.

 

In the end I did suspect when he was going to do it . . . and it was perfect. But I really had to work hard to convince myself it wasn't going to happen then . . . because I just couldn't handle the emotional wreak I turned into when it didn't happen before.

 

We'd looked at rings for over 6 months, and I knew he'd been carrying it around for 3!

 

 

Good luck and let all the stress of it get in the way of enjoying the process!!

I think no matter when it happens you will be able to arrange things. Obviously, the sooner the better, but you can always get things together It's amazing whatyou can do when you need to

No Worries! There are so many options out there. I've been un-officially engaged for almost 2 weeks, and we found a fantastic location with a low-season rate... which helped our last minute notice to guests... I'm a local wedding planner, and I'm having a hard time with the response time of out of country cooridinators...but have fun and don't stress with things! Your day is going to be beautiful- don't stress the small stuff!
