i just thought i'd update this. i bought a white sundress to wear on my legal day, but when the day came i just wasnt feelin it. i wore a white sweater & black dress pants and FI wore a white dress shirt & dress pants! so much for my sundress idea!

I actually ended up finding a nice white dress at white house black market. I really wanted a nice dress but not too expensive. I happened to walk by it in the mall and i found a couple of nice dresses in the clearance rack. So if you ladies have one by you check it out!

Ok - I remember that someone on the forum was looking at getting this dress and I just found a knockoff one - Hopefully it helps someone - I figured this thread would be the best place to post! Hope it helps someone!!!

We're doing our "legal" stuff next week. I told the Marriage Commisioner that I wanted it be be sticktly paperwork and have nothing resemble a wedding as I was hesitant about doing this way anyways. I want my wedding day in the Dominican to be my wedding. So, that said, we'll be wearing jeans etc. but maybe go out to dinner with our witnesses. We've told a few people but not many.

Just wearing a white pant suit not going all out, since we are just doing the courthouse thing. A nice dinner out just the two of us.

For our legal ceremony we will both be casual. I plan to wear a skirt and blouse or suit. Since we are telling absolutely no-one afterwards we will go out to dinner just the two of us.
