Legal day Wardrobe

For those who are getting married legally before their DW what did/are you wear(ing) that day?

What did/are you do(ing) afterward?

 

We are doing our legal day 7/10/09 and I have been looking for a dress but could use some advice.

I am just wearing a casual white sundress from Francescas Collections. I bought it last year. It is really pretty, but still casual. We are planning on going out to eat with our parents and grandparents afterwards. I think we might do our legal day on 7/24. I saw some really pretty white dresses that were summer looking on Victoria's Secret: Lingerie and Women's Clothing, Accessories & more. if you are looking to purchase something

I didn't even think about that yet- I like the idea of wearing a casual white dress and going to dinner afterward. Is it hard to get a date at the courthouse or is it pretty easy to schedule

I honestly hadnt even thought about this yet! I will wear some sort of white dress as well. I have a couple to choose from! And then we will go to eat afterwards and celebrate!

My legal day is 7.17 =) I'm wearing a white sundress (although I havent even started looking yet). We plan to go out to dinner with only immediate families afterwards, because none of the guests really know we're going to the courthouse before hand. It's just a private affair!

I wore a white dress - you can see it in my siggy pic Ours was at 10am so afterward we went to lunch with my parents (our witnesses) and had some champagne. That night DH and I made a great dinner and splurged on a really nice bottle of wine - it was a great day!!

I'm actually planning on just wearing jeans or something really casual...we want it to be as informal as possible so that our Mexico wedding is our REAL wedding...we count the legal one as just paperwork.
