Does this email to my guests encouraging them to book sound too pushy

I think its great reminder to your guests. the only thing i would change is maybe not mention booking online. like keep the part that says Jennifer can match any price online but dont suggest to them that they could still book online. Trust me you want all or at least almost all of your guests to book with your TA in case anything happens (hello Swine Flu). I had a minor problem but luckily all my guests booked with my TA and she was able to fix everyone's air and rooms for me to fix it.

I am not sure if you already sent it but I am curious why you would work with a TA then tell your guests how to book otherwise. TA's do a ton of work to get room blocks and get very little for it. I had a couple of people book outside of our room block and they wound up being on the other side of the hotel and really regretted not being a part of the room block. Its so nice when everyone is right near each other.

Thanks for your feedback all!

I love my travel agent and have been asking everyone to book through her. My main objective, though, is to get the lowest rate for my guests. I had to mention the Orbitz sale because the rates are extremely low. That is why I mentioned the price matching with Jennifer. In addition, many people have not been booking packages but have been booking directly with the resorts and the airlines to use frequent flyer miles.

Is this better?

Hola!

We hope you all are doing well and enjoying your summer.

In case you are thinking about joining us in Cancun, we are writing out of friendly courtesy to let you know that the Orbitz sale is scheduled to end on June 18, 2009 and the Excellence Resorts sale, offering 35% off, will expire on June 30, 2009. Jennifer Prymula of Sand and Sun Vacations, our travel agent, will work with you to price match any vacation package you find on the internet and can match the resort price if you do not choose to do a lot of investigation of internet rates through Orbitz, Travelocity, Expedia, Cheap Caribbean, etc. We want to ensure that all who attend have the opportunity to get the best rates possible.

In addition, we would like to let you know that we have recently updated the "events" page of our website jenandken2009.com to include the full description of the menu choices in case you are having a hard time deciding! If you have already RSVPed but would like to change your mind after reading the full description, just shoot one of us an email.

Just a friendly reminder that passports are now required for travel into Mexico. If you are planning to come to Mexico with us, now would be a great time to make sure your passport is up to date or to get your passport if you do not have one. With the new requirements newly implemented, at times, the US Department of State can be backed up on issuing them - generally it takes 4 to 6 weeks. Passport applications can be obtained and submitted through your local Post Office. Just bring two 2 x 2 color passport photos, taken within 6 months, and a check or money order in the amount of $75 made out to the US Department of State. Detailed information on passports can be found on the US Department of State website Welcome to Travel.State.Gov

Gracias!
Jen and Ken
