Hand Fans - For female & male guests?

Ladies I need your help!

 

I really love the idea of having paper hand fans at our wedding since the ceremony will be on the beach in April on St. John and it could be quite warm. However, I'm wondering if the male guests will actually use them? Does anyone have any experience with their own wedding with this issue? Do you think I should do something different for the guys?

good question Taghan I was also wondering this. Hopeful we will get some good feedback from previous brides

I'm bringing straw hand fans and each guest will get one. They will be put on each chair at the ceremony location. I'm note sure of who will use them or not, but I think it's better to give one too everyone. If it's really hot, I'm think the male guests will be glad to have them!

 

I'm curious to see if other brides did something different... I may change my mind!
