Well the concert last night was a great night out! Silversun Pickups was only the opening band unfortunately so they only played a handful of songs and not an entire set. They were - as always - SO good though and seriously the base guitarist, Nikki, has smoking hot arms and is just amazing! FI was laughing at me because I was just staring in awe :) Oh yah and she also played the set in a dress and high heels even while jumping around - love it!

I wasn't too sure on what I'd think of Muse. I figured I would only know the odd song but it turns out I knew about half their set. I think I've found a new appreciation for them but getting close to the end some of it just started sounding all the same. Honestly though it was better than I was expecting so I won't complain about it!

Donâ€t worry, youâ€ll get it all done somehow. Especially with the help from Meghan, right?
Haha that's totally me too! Getting all bent out of shape because he doesn't do it MY way and therefore it's not right blush2.gif I just figured, what the heck - at this point no one else will really notice and I just don't have the energy to care LOL! I'm happy they're done and I just need to hole-punch them today and get them attached to the bags.

And maybe on Friday I can convince Suzy to pull out all her wedding stuff so that we can take pictures and get them posted for all of you. She'll probably read this today and kill me for suggesting it too LOL!!! We're such trouble for each other!

Hey Jill - I can ask my mom where she gets stuff embroidered. There's a place that used to be in Burlington Mall but I'm not sure if they've moved or what now. It's been so long since I was home!! She'll know where to go though I'm sure :)

Hey for someone who's leaving right away here, you're doing pretty good getting anything posted at all! I totally won't be getting my planning thread done until AFTER I get back and can manage to organize my pictures, my house and most of all my brain again!!!! Everything looks really great though and your guests are going to LOVE what you've put together for them.

I can't believe you're down to your last day here too! Girls - IT'S OUR MONTH!!!!

Background: Our colors our navy blue and white. Theme is 'paradise found...'

Beach towels that we are handing out at our family dinner on Thursday (only fam is going) Bought the towels from Kohls on sale for $2.70 each, embroidery for $5.00 each, bought 13 yards of ribbon for $12.00, and iron on letters for $3.30 for 1 packet of alphabet.

This is a close up of the cards that are tucked into the ribbon; it's the legend of the sand dollar and it has a prayer on it. Bought the cards for $1.00 per pack of 5, roll of ribbon for $1.39, sand dollars for $.30 each. I put the sand dollar where I wanted it on the card, wrapped the ribbon around it, and then hot glued the ribbon in the back.

This is the towl with out anything else

Bride and groom koozies that I bought at Jo Ann Fabric for apx $7.00

I made my own pretty hanger for pics of my dress. I bought the hanger at Wal Mart for $5.68 and the paint for $.99
This is the front, it has an H on it for our last name (HOYT)

This is the back side of the hanger

This is what will be sitting on the chairs at the ceremony. I made my own tears of joy packets. Bought the organza bags at Michaels for $2.70 for a package of 10, the tissues at Michaels for $10.00 for a package of 10 individually wrapped packages of tissues (think travel size kleenex packages), the 'love' hearts at Michaels for $1.00 for a package of 25, the bubbles at Michaels for $6.00 for a package of like a zillion and one, the ribbon at michaels for $1.39 for a whole roll (I think maybe 10 yards). Then I just stuffed the baggies with the tissues, added the love thing and tied it. For the bubbles I just added the love thing and made a bow out of the ribbon.

Unfortunately that's all the pics that I have. I do have navy blue chair sashes, navy blue fabric for the yuppa, ribbon for my bouquet and FI bout, and my sand ceremony kit. My sand ceremony vase I bought from Kirklands, so it's not really made to use for this purpose but I like it alot.
Jenna.....you did an AMAZING job, I love your tear of joy and bubble packs.....they looks so good!!!!

Nat,

Well the rings are amazing, and he did one heck of a job just by listening to what you wanted, you lucky girl you!!!! :)

I agree with Michele, the shoes are HOT HOT!!! I could never wear them, I'd be flat on my face, but if you can, go for it, I totally admire you lol!!!

Jena,

you did an amazing job, you had some great ideas. Like look aswsome!!!!! your guest are going to appreciate/love them so much!!!

OMG I'm sooo excited for you, you must be leaving tomorrow then?

Meghan, I'm glad you enjoyed the concert, must have been a fresh of breath air getting to do something other then wedding related stuff. I'm jealous lol!!!!

I made a point, regardless where I'm at in planning and getting stuff done, I'll go see 2 good friends who are unable to attend and have some non wedding related time together over the weekend.

Yes yes, try and convince her,she has enough time to post pics. She promise she was going to out do me for the labels, she must prove it lol wink.gif

sooo I have a delima, I hope you girls can help me. I finished my centerpieces. And I HATE them they look so freaking tacky. I'm hoping someone would have a better idea for me. I want to keep the vase (cause they are so light) but I don't think I want to keep the fake flowers. So I was thinking, maybe filling them up with Punta Cana side and then putting a candle on top, but then I was thinking there will be no flowers (does it matter?) but also I bought seashell candle holders to go around the centerpiece, will it be to much candles, not enough of anything anythings? HELP!!!! I know this isn't the time to be starting new projects, but I can't help it.. worse nightmare ever about 'em!!

nybeachbride.. your legal day sounds very cool! so nice that they gave it such a personal touch!

hoyt, you stuff looks great and you should be very proud of it all! here's hoping that everything gets done for you today!!

you guys aren't joking about people asking little questions right near the end. one of my FSILs (who is also a BM) sent me a message yesterday asking where in the dominican republic we were going. ummm.. whathuh.gif how do you not know that by this pointhuh.gif i'm handing out the rest of the OOT bags to jeremy's family tomorrow at his bday dinner so hopefully that will answer most of their questions. going through security with 18 people is what scares me the most! once we're sitting at our gate i will be just fine!!
