So, we're going to the JP on April 1st!!! Since our Mexico wedding will be the true and legit one in our minds, we thought April Fool's Day was the perfect day to see the judge

That was the main reason FI didn't even allow me to look in Mexico. I never thought about it until right before Xmas to do a legal ceremony here, and a symbolic wedding there (i could be going to Mexico insead lol) Ah well!!

If I haven't mention it before, I just love you April fool's legal ceremony idea!! to cute!!

 

Yes I totally forgot to mention, I am sorry. I love love the idea of asking all your guest to be in white. Those pictures will be so beautiful and stunning. Like someone said, just like the star's do it! lol .

Nat, I am too so glad you picked the MOH that you did and you don't have any BM issues. I am sorry to hear your cousin can't come, but I think deep down you knew that, or you would have gotten her as your MOH. Looks like everything turns out for a good reason.

Ok here's one for the girls struggling with weight issues....

Now with clothes on, sometimes I feel like: "Damn, I'm looking pretty good!" you know with new shoes and some makeup I can be bright and shiny like a new coin! But naked, or even close to naked...well lets just say I'm soooooo not there and at this point won't be by the time I get to mexico....this makes me pretty sad. But hopefully with enough Tequila I won't really care and I'll be shakin' it as if I look just like Beyonce! (btw, I can't dance a lick, but alcohol does bring the Beyonce out in me)

So and there is one other dilemma....my dress...well, I may have to get a corset put in, because right now it's not zipping up very well, or I'll have to wear spanx - that'll be nice and attractive for our wedding night, I can see it now! Not to mention extremely HOT HOT HOT, like temperature hot, not looking forward to sweating, but I may loose a few pounds, lol.

SO I'm basically screwed, I have been working my ass off at the gym with NO RESULTS. at first, I had lost 11 pounds but I think it found me again!! I effing hate my thyroid and it's lack of working ability...this is what I blame it all on!!!!!!!!!!!

That's my rant for the evening - now please excuse me while I go take my oatmeal cookies out of the oven, they're for the baby I swear, and they do have raisins in them....and dark choco chips )

I hear ya about the thyroid. Before I had thyroid issues, I never had to worry about my weight. Now it is a constant struggle. I have to work 3 times as hard to lose the weight... And don't get me started on the whole fatigue thing.... Enough of that.

That's so funny you mentioned Spanx. I plan to wear the high-waisted spanx that are the length of shorts under my wedding dress. Well, before my dress fitting this past Saturday, I decided to put on my Spanx & long-line bra before I went to the bridal shop so I wouldn't have to struggle with putting it on at the shop. I had my FI to help me button up the long-line bra in the back. So, I'm walking around the house in my high waisted Spanx and this long-line bra. My FI got a good laugh out of that. He told me I better not wear that s*!t on the wedding night. It was not sexy at all ladies. My dogs were even looking at me funny. LOL!! The things we go through to look good.

I'm trying to eat healthy these last few weeks, but it's tough: girl scout cookies vs. the wedding dress, haha!

In Ohio you can live together forever and not share any benefits. You have to be married in order to share health insurance, etc. I might be wrong, but that's my understanding. My guy is former military and we used to joke that if we were married while he was still active duty his insurance would cover a boob job for me, haaa

We're doing the legal thing here on 3/26. Mainly because I'm a chicken and didn't want to get my blood drawn in Mexico. Also didn't want to deal with foreign documents getting translated, etc. My parents got married in a courthouse so I thought it would be fun to follow in their footsteps, plus FI's grandpa isn't traveling to MX so we've invited him to join us, which will be special for him.

I found the $0.97 first aid kits at Target and packs of gum/mints at the dollar store. Placed an order for pashminas today! My welcome bags are starting to get thick!

Try the Lemonade fast. I did a lot of research on this fast and convinced one of my coworkers to do it and she actually dropped 10 pounds. if you a good enough to change your diet after cleaning it out, you might drop more. she returned to regular food after her 10 days. I promise the juice is delicious.
