even though i'm so pale i'm practically albino (not really.. just irish), the tanning bed is like my prozac!! i only get a few minutes and i have only been a handful of times, but the warmth and being able to block everything else out is fantastic!!

 

meli, i think i'm going to need SPF 1 million too.. wonder where they sell that? one thing people keep warning me about is the strength of sunscreen to bring, since i'm pretty sure the caribbean sun is a lot stronger than the sun in ohio!

They have i think up to spf 80 now, Yes your def right the sun is a lot stronger in the caribbean that at home.

I'd love to give you advice on this but I honestly have no idea. On the one hand I figure "hey, it's just Tylenol" but on the other I'm a bit leery of anything that doesn't come from Canada or the States. Sorry

Man, I'm having a busy day! I've got two preschool groups in the library today for storytime/ crafts, one morning and one afternoon, and then my after school group comes in before supper. I'm just hopping on BDW while I have my lunch... I'll be wiped out by the time I get home tonight. Thanks for letting me vent for a second!

I have to say I'm kind of with Mel on the whole advil/tylenol issue. The best answer I can say is that I *personally* wouldn't make the purchase, but I guess just go with your gut.

Hey I know some of you girls were trying to figure out how to personalize mugs and stuff without getting them customized. I read this thread that is SUPER new and I am SO JEALOUS of the idea, especially since I ordered the same mugs but paid for the imprinting! Arg!!

I too would be a little weary about ordering meds from another country.

 

Question - Can you wear wedges on the beach? I have a pair of shoes to wear w/ my dress but I don't know if I'll be able to walk in the sand w/ them. What do you think?

hoyt - i would try to find another bride who has been married on the beach at your resort and see what her opinion is. i think the beach situation at each resort varies a little bit. some even put boards under the sand in the aisle just for that reason!
