We're not far from each other at all! I really like Whittier, too. It's a lot like Downey though, still pretty expensive to buy a nice house there. I lived in Covina for about a year and was happy there. I really like Upland/Claremont area, too. DH wanted a newer home and I really didn't care as long as I was close to work, so Corona seemed to have houses that we liked and that were in our price range. Good luck when you begin your house hunting!
