Great Rehearsal Dinner Location in Negril

Hey Brides!

 

I had to share this great rehearsal dinner location I found - Canoe Beach Bar and Grill in Negril. It is very casual and right on the beach. All the reviews I've seen say the food is great. It is right on the beach and the owners have been absolutely AMAZING to work with. Extremely responsive and flexible. Beautiful location right on the beach. We'll be taking the place over for our rehearsal dinner with a buffet dinner, live band, and beach bonfire for an unbelievably affordable price. I just had to share.

If you dont mind me asking how much was it for how many people?

Not sure if the pricing is tied to the number of guests I'll have - I have 30-40. $12 per person for a buffet dinner for 30-40. The buffet will have 2 meats or fish, 2 sides, and a simple dessert. I am doing a tab on drinks because thier drink prices are reasonable as well and I will be covering for my guests.

 

My contact, and one of the owners, Patty has been such a joy to work with, which I haven't found often in Jamaica. She has been extremely responsive and ready to partner with us to throw a great party for our guests. I hope you find a location that you are as excited about as I am about mine.

Thanks for sharing - it looks adorable. It seems like the little places that no one has heard of are always the best

 

I'm still debating on where to have our rehearsal dinner. We are staying at an AI, so I know it's silly to go somewhere else for dinner, but I'd really like my guests to see a little bit of the "real" Negril. Right now I'm leaning towards Rick's Cafe, only because I've been there before so I know what I'm getting, the food is great, the atmosphere is fun and the prices aren't too bad. Not to mention the phenomenal view of the sunset! But at the same time, we already paid for food at the resort...uggg, such tough decisions, lol.

Can you tell me where they are located in Negril? Did you have to pay a deposit to reserve?
