Cancun/June brides - Are you freaking out about showers on your wedding day?

Hi ladies,

I am stalking weather.com and it says it's going to rain all week next week and there is a 60% chance of precipitation on my wedding day!

Are any other Cancun/early June brides freaking out?

I'm praying that it's like Hawaii where they forcast rain every day and it rains some but usually not a lot and usually not all day.

ADVICE!?!?

The resort has a back up, I have no idea what it looks like though. I'll just have to go with the flow I guess. Totally out of my control. Just bummed because you get soemthing in your head in terms of the way things will look and I'm really hoping we can get married on the beach. Positive thoughts, positive thoughts!!!

The Caribbean weather sites always seems to post showers on their reports. My experience has been that they are generally brief and mostly in the evening. I have been where there have been some fairly heavy downpours during the day, but pretty much it has just been some scattered showers and then the sun comes out. Unfortunately, weather is the one thing we can't do anything about, but if you have a Plan B - at least you'll have peace of mind.

Think positive :) I think I'm more worried about the heat rather than the rain. I heard that if it does storm it will for a short period of time. 60% in my opinion isn't too high of a chance...just my two cents. Plus you are about a week away so the forecast may change (for the better!) between now and then. Wow, youre getting married next week! Good luck with everything, have a great time!
