What size runner for 60" tables?

Is 108" too long, or would I need 72". I am so clueless when it comes to these things. Thank God for this forum!!

How much do you want them to hang over the table? 108" they'll hang over 2' on each end. 72" they'll only hang over 6"

I'm not sure, what is typical for a wedding? I think if they hang over 2 feet that would probably meet the end of the table cloth.

We ordered 72" for 60" tables. The overhang is 6" all around. If you just want the overlay as an accent over the white tablecloth; then 72" is fine. I think the 108" will look more like a tablecloth than an overlay - but it's really all a matter of taste.
