Hello everyone! My name is Amanda, and I just got engaged on May 9th, 2009. My fiance and I would like to do a destination wedding in May 2010 but have no idea where to go. Any suggestions?

We'd like it to be either in the Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Jamaica...or somewhere close to there. We will have about 35 guests, but need to keep it reasonably priced. Does anyone have an suggestions for a great resort that handles all of the specifics? Like wedding cake, dinner, ceremony, flowers, etc?

Welcome, and congrats. You will get tonnes of advice here. I vote for the Dominican Republic. It is beautiful. But allthese locarions are beautiful.

Congrats and Welcome! I'm getting married in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic at the Excellece. They're handling everything for me. I found the prices to be about the same as Mexico. If you want I can send all the packages on the Hotel.

Welcome and congrats! I vote for jamaica or the bahamas! I was at a wedding at Dreams Punta Cana last year and the resort was beautiful but we wouldnt go back to the DR again. Have fun planning
