Dreams Palm Beach?

I have found out for sure that you do not have to be legally married in order to do a symbolic ceremony at Dreams Palm Beach and you are still entitled to wedding packages and everything as per usual. In case anyone else wanted to know about this.

I actually am getting married at home and not telling anyone and then having the ceremony there.

 

They sent me a sample ceremony script and the only part they leave out is the legal stuff. 

 

Your guests wont even notice you are not really doing the real thing.

hey hun i sent my save the dates a year before and i am sending the invites this month..... for july 4th wedding 8 months in advances just because it is a holiday weekend and i find the sooner you book the cheaper the flights=)

hello ladies the dorm has been quiet recently,

 

i ordered my dress, i oredered my invitations, the bm all have to order the dresses by nov 15 3 already have 3 more to go=),

what else is their??

Here's what I've been up to...

 

Ordered my dress, it should arrive in Jan

Booked photographer, DJ, date, etc

Bought most of our supplies for our centerpieces (petals, lanterns, seashells)

Bought some supplies for OOT bags

Sent our passport invitations in early Oct (for a May wedding)

Wedding website has been up and running since July

24 guests booked

Honeymoon booked

 

Still to do:

BM dresses!! I'm stuck here

Groom/groomsmen outfits

Shoes & accessories

Wedding bands

OOT bags/pre-travel brochures

Name cards

Guestbook

 

That's all I can think of right now. Hope this helps!

Elizabeth, I WISH I knew!! I have everything taken care of EXCEPT this! I originally wanted to have it in one of the ballrooms but I am getting so discouraged by all of these pictures I am seeing. Purple walls, really? Its seems like everyone that has their reception in the ballroom, gets the one with the purple walls (which I despise). I really am not that picky, but I hate the way it looks in all of the pictures. I'm hoping to get some feedback from MysTea & maybe you? (you're visitng soon right?) what are you planning to do for your reception?

i also did website, booked dj & photographer, i have my idea for the oot bags already just waiting till i get closer to the date to purchase them, got my shoes,  my centerpiece i am going to do flowers not from the resort because they are super expensive so i am going through a local florist. my invites are coming this week and will be mailing out by next week=)

 

still to do

name cards for reception

groooms outfits

yes Hun i will be there in Nov11-15 trust me i will get to personally see the rooms and i will let you know all about it.... i also do not understand the purple walls lol why couldn't go with a neutral color lol maybe i can advised them about all the horrible reviews about those hideous walls.... i already told them that i do not want those picture frames either.... they need to repaint those walls lol =) ,make it look like the website...

 

i also want a ballroom.... but when i go now i will def be able to pick the location=)
